Privacy policy
Version of 1 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data is collected on pestnode.com and pestnode.pl, why, and how long it is kept. It does not cover the Pestnode app (app.pestnode.pl).
Who is the data controller
The controller of your personal data is Marcin Matuszewski, a private individual. Postal address: Wilkowice 58, 64-115 Święciechowa, Poland.

What data is collected and why
Enquiries through the form or by email
- Data
- full name, company name, work email, number of technicians and the content of your message.
- Purpose
- replying to your enquiry and arranging a demo.
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the controller's legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and discussing work with the company you represent. If you write on your own behalf: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken before entering into a contract).
- How long
- up to 12 months after our last contact. If a contract is signed, the data becomes part of that contract's records.
Server technical data
- Data
- IP address, date and time of the visit, the page visited, browser information.
- Purpose
- keeping the site secure and working, including detecting attacks.
- Legal basis
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- How long
- up to 14 days, after which the logs are deleted automatically.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no cookies, no analytics tools and no advertising pixels. Fonts load from this site's own server, not from Google.
Who receives the data
The data is processed by the controller's service providers:
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany: server and website hosting in Germany,
- OVH SAS, 2 Rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France: email, servers in the European Union,
- Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland: the Gmail service, where the controller receives request notifications.
Because Gmail is used, the data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to Google LLC in the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), in which Google LLC participates. The data is never sold.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy,
- have it corrected,
- have it erased,
- restrict its processing,
- data portability, where the basis is a contract (point b),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest (point f).
To use any of these rights, write to info@pestnode.com. You will get a reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, or the authority in your own EU country.
Do you have to provide data
Filling in the form is voluntary, but without the data we cannot reply. The data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
